My name is Emily, and I am a mother to a daughter and a son. My son is the younger of the two, and he has Cystic Fibrosis. Prior to becoming a travel agent, I enjoyed a 14-year career working with children who have special needs, but l had to leave my job a few years ago due to my son's declining health (the germs at daycare were just too much for his little body!). Working remotely from home has allowed me to provide the care he needs. Through our hard work and the dedicated support of our community, he is doing well!
I rediscovered my love for Disney and Universal when we went on my son's Make-A-Wish trip in January 2024. He met his heroes, Mickey and Minnie, and our daughter got to tour Hogwarts. The amount of planning and coordination between our family and Make-A-Wish was substantial, but the trip was amazing and inspired me to become a travel agent! My experience with Make-A-Wish has given me a unique insight into the complexities of travel planning, and I am now well-equipped to handle such arrangements for other families. I LOVE planning vacations and want to help other families experience what the world has to offer without all the stress!

I am a HUGE animal lover. All 5 of my pets were rescued from a shelter!
I am an avid reader and find time to read every day.
If possible, I would rather drive than fly (it's tricky to fly with all of my son's medical equipment).
After my son's trip, I became a volunteer for Make-A-Wish. I create celebration boxes for Wish Kids who are about to go on their trip.
